Shined is a nostalgic piece, thinking back to the time of analog media, static backtracks,
and the streetlight warnings to come home. It's one of my favorite songs that I've worked on
for the new album. I hope you enjoy the demo as much as I enjoyed writing it.

The first track from the debut album is released as a single—"look at me now".
This piece is an emotional monster. For many years I battled with a relationship that
took every ounce of who I am. I gave everything and watched someone take all the credit.
I was led on and I was left out and I was the subject of ridicule behind my back
by the very same person who made me feel like I was the only one in the world. This piece
is a heavy one for me, which is why I think it's the perfect piece to lead the way for
this musical journey.

It explores betrayal, manipulation, and the fallout of emotional exhaustion.
